'Dadi ki Rasoi' is an initiative that was started by Anoop Khanna. It aims at providing quality food to poor and needy people at just Rs 5. If you are low on budget and don't have enough money, you don't need to worry as you can head straight to Dadi ki Rasoi where you can get quality food at just Rs 5. When was the last time you heard anyone providing quality food, that too cooked in desi ghee at such a low price.

"The idea regarding distribution of food to poor peoples generated in Anoop khanna's mother's mind. She was sitting at home with her family and was eating food when suddenly a thought came in her mind that why not serve food to poor people. It all started from two years ago. At first, food was prepared for 15-20 poor people at home and served from their only. Once people started joining in, some nearby shopkeepers supported Khanna ji and encouraged him to continue it. Then they bought big utensils, commercial gas and stoves."

“Dadi ki Rasoi” and “Dadi ka Sadbhavna store” were two of the social initiatives by Anoop Khanna which were not only appreciated by the people but also gained humongous media attention at national level. The reason behind the success of Anoop Khanna’s jouney was his self-less contribution to the society by his idea of providing food at 5 Indian rupees and clothes distribution at 10 Indian rupees.

Anoop Khanna spends around 2500 Indian rupees daily to provide food to around 500 people daily at Ganga Shopping complex, Noida sector-29 and few other sectors of the Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Apart from food distribution at lower cost, clothes are distributed to the needy people at negligible cost of 10 Indian rupees by Dadi Maa ka Sadbhavna store.
